She Missed Us

So we're both sitting on the couch Monday afternoon with Selah--just three hours after having arrived home from our cruise. I'm on the laptop, Kenneth's catching highlights on ESPN. We hear farting from Selah's direction. Other than that, she's quiet. A few more minutes pass and I forget all about it. Then I hear Kenneth... "Hope. Look at your daughter."
Wow. I missed you too, Baby Girl. I missed you too.

Only Selah could make that look cute! The look on her face is a crack-up, and I'll bet she broke out in a grin one nano-second afterwards!

She just stared like she was totally worn out from the poopy-work she had just done. It was so bad, we just took her straight to the sink and hosed her off. Then she was grinning.

Oh don't you just love it when kids do that?!?! Mine used to do it all the time and it would just kill me. Selah is just as beautiful as you are, Hope! Enjoy her while she is young, they grow up way to fast.

Thea, Even the poop was hilarious. I mean, I don't like poop, but a poop like that is one for the memory books.

Joseph, I just shook my head...I think she saved it for us.

KJMouse, Thank you! I can already see how fast she is growing. I remember when she was an hour old and on my chest. It's so amazing to watch her change. :)
