Jr. High Students In Guatemala

This past week we sent off hand written letters to all 27 students who gave their lives to Christ at the Esperanza Jr. High School.

If you didn't get a chance to read what happened at the school, you can get caught up here.

All of our lives were transformed in Guatemala. Even though we are back at our jobs and our homes, we still remember the faces and stories of those students. So, we has a team decided to write each one of them a hand written letter to encourage them in their new walk with Christ. We received a list of their names from Pastor Mario who has begun follow up ministry with them since we left.

I've never done that before... written someone after I left the mission field. Maybe people do that all the time and I'm just behind the times. Either way, it felt incredible. I'm so grateful to be a part of this church, this group of people who would take the time to make a difference one person at a time.
