Cramming Clothes

I just finished packing a room full of children's clothes for children in Nepal. It left a permanent smile on my face.

It took over two hours to sort them all by size and then bag and label them by size...then cram them in three large suitcases. And when we finally had all three large suitcases zipped up and standing at attention, ready to travel the world with clothing for children who badly needed them... we looked over and saw the boxes of medical supplies that were supposed to be packed in with the clothes.

Well. If we have it to take, then as far as I'm concerned, dang it... it's going. I don't care if the nice canvas red bag is bulging already and the black one is losing it's ribbing and the brown one took us five minutes to get the zipper closed. The supplies are GOING.

Hence, another hour of rearranging, pressing, weighing, cramming, re-weighing, zipping, pushing, and squeezing. And it's DONE! What we thought would take about an hour took three hours. But who cares... children will be clothed and those with medical needs will get some much needed supplies. Yes...it feels incredible. And we haven't even left yet!

I'll be taking a hiatus for a few weeks while we are traveling. Thanks for the support! Please keep praying for us! Here are some things we need coverage on:
  • Safety
  • Protection
  • Health
  • Team unity
  • Helpful and effective efforts
